Met with Mr. William Berg, Jr. Administrative Assistant to Senator Wayne Morse (D., Oreg.), and refreshed his memory that the Senator had intended to meet with Agency representatives for general situation briefings prior to his trip. Mr. Berg noted again that the Senator's schedule after the breakfast meeting with the DCI had been such that the Senator did not have time for further briefings. I advised Mr. Berg that the Senator may be interested in additional information with regard to certain installations he visited while on this trip. If so, I would be pleased to make the necessary arrangements at the Senator's convenience. Mr. Berg advised that the Senator will not be returning before Thursday at the earliest and that his plans after his return are indefinate. He indicated his appreciation for the visit and stated that should the Senator desire further information, he will be pleased to call me to make whatever arrangements are necessary. 5. Met with Mr. James Gehrig, Senate _Aero- _nautical and Space Sciences Committee staff, and delivered two blind memoranda: one dated 19 November 1965 relating to France-USSR, the other dated 23 November relating to Communist China. 6. In response to a request from J. Sourwine, Counsel, Senate Internal Security Committee, for information concerning I met with Miss Miriam Fox and advised that I was unable to identify the individual. Miss Fox advised that she would pass the information to Mr. Sourwine and should he desire any further advice. on this individual, he will be back in touch with us. Asjistant Legislative.
