4. Met with Mr. William Berg, Jr.
Administrative Assistant to Senator Wayne Morse (D., Oreg.), and
refreshed his memory that the Senator had intended to meet with
Agency representatives for general situation briefings prior to his

have time for further briefings. I advised Mr. Berg that the Senator
may be interested in additional information with regard to certain
installations he visited while on this trip. If so, I would be pleased to
make the necessary arrangements at the Senator's convenience.
Mr. Berg advised that the Senator will not be returning before
Thursday at the earliest and that his plans after his return are indefinate.
He indicated his appreciation for the visit and stated that should the
Senator desire further information, he will be pleased to call me to
make whatever arrangements are necessary.
