Mr. William Vance, Office of Personnel, called to indicate that he had been directed by to follow through on 25X1 Mr, Karamessines' recommendation that members of DDP@ OGC;,, and Personnel get together to recommend courses of action relating to the subject bill, and suggested that a meeting soon be held by appropriate representatitkes of these offices. For Personnel's part; Mr. Vance suggested that both he and would attend. He also 25X1 suggested that Mr. George c anus e invited. 2, I told Mr. Vance that I would bring his request to the attention of Mr. Warner and that he would be hearing soon from either Mr. Warner or Mr, Vance stated that, as he saw it, the recommendation to amend section 4 of the Agency's Act to provide for similar travel authority and the administrative adoption of the other benefit provisions of the bill, if passed, seem to be the course to follow. He further stated that he was this day asking to carefully examine the retirement ramifications brought up in paper.
