a spicy setting for the Texas-
Mexican dinner which USAF
Lt. Gen. and Mrs. Charles P.

night.
- Honor guests were the new
chairman of the Joint Chiefs P,
of Staff and former Air Force
1Chief, Gen. Nathan Twining,
and Mrs. Twining, and the
new Air Force Chief of Staff,
and Mrs. Thomas D. White.

Famed Cook
Mrs. Cabell is famous for
her South of the Border
cookery.
She spent all yesterday
preparing for the annual
feast to which their friends
look forward all year long.
-Avocado dip with fritos
was served with the drinks
before dinner. Later every-
one helped . themselves at
the?buffet which offered such
red hot delights 'hs chile,
Mexican beans, enchiladas,

the Cabell's upcoming 23rd
anniversary on September

plan -to leave on a three
weeks trip to California.
Fun Fete
Adding to the party fun
was the fact that no intro-
ductions were necessary.
Everyone knew each other.
Among those invited were
Lt. Gen. and Mrs. Joseph
Smith, Gen. and Mrs. John
A. Samford, Gen. and Mrs.
Curtis LeMay, Maj. Gen. and
Mrs. Heywood S. Hansill and
Gen. and Mrs. Leon Johnson.
Also asked were Brig. Gen.
and Mrs. Donald Zimmerman,
Lt. Gen. and Mrs. Enitmet
O'Donnell, Lt. Gen. arid Mrs.
Manuel Asensio, Lt. Gen. and
Mrs. Donald Putt, Maj. Gen..
and Mrs. Reuben Hood, Lt.
Gen. and Mrs. Elmer Rogers
and Lt. Gen. and Mrs. Wil-
liam Irvine.
Also at the party were four
newcomers , to Bolling, Lt.
Gen. and Mrs. William H.
