Exchange of Patent Materials between US and USSR In response to your request at the PROCIB meeting of March 24, 1959, I am enclosing for your retention copies of the correspondence relating to the exchange of patent materials between the US and the USSR. The correspondence indicates that arrangements have been concluded on the technical level for exchange of patent materials between the U.S. Patent Office and the All-Union Patent Technical Library of the USSR. We have been informed that the first exchange of patent materials took place in January. The U.S. Patent Office received 614 Soviet numbers (three copies each) in two shipments.
