Housing Allowances
1. We have discussed housing and utilities allowances with a
representative of the Office of Logistics and concluded you have
exactly the same authorit grant such allowances
within the limits of authorize norms. is includes payment of
the utilities allowance only and pa ent of allowances to military
and civilian personnel assigned t Individ.-
ual cases may be handled differently, depending on the circumstances.
2. In our o -Pinion em to ees who were resident in the area
before ho have moved to the area prim-
arily for personal reasons and whose employment by us is secondary
albeit helpful are not entitled to allowances.
3. The Office of Logistics' representative suggests that you
seek advice and guidance fro Budget Officers
which will serve to establish and maintain equal treatment
for all employees in the area. We particularly suggest coordinating
cases similar to those mentioned in paragraph 2 above.
