perform two high altitude test flights on one aircraft
by 27 December.
2. The Rate Limit Logic Package will complete
preliminary testing on 22 December. The first interim
production model will go into test at LAC, Van Nuys, on
27 December. Approximately three flights will be required
to qualify the first interim production model. This
action together with one flight he three interim
production models destined for is scheduled 25X1
for completion 29 December. Assuming two days in transit
and three days installation and check out time, the first
completely retro-fitted aircraft should be available for
use on .5 January.
3. Gyro Platforms for Detachment "G" are presently
undergoing testing at Lear. Sufficient platforms to
retro-fit possessed aircraft will be available on
27 December. Completion of Pitot-static source kits
for 0 has been delayed by a shortage of Pitot masts 25X1
which are Government furnished.

4. The depot has advised that 6 Pitot masts should
arrive at LAC on 23 December. aircraft
should be retro-fitted with now platforms and Pitot-
static sources by 5 January. Rate Limit Logic Packages
will be furnished the detachment not later than 5 January.
A completion date for overall retro-fit of all aircraft
by both operating locations has been set for 15 January.
