REFERENCE : Your. Memorandum (ER 66-534) of 7 February 1966
1. We attach as Annex A a tabular statement of the serial
publications which our components prepare for distribution outside
the Clandestine Services, taking into ace?unt the definition of
Agency publications contained in u
2. For information, we attach as Annex B a list of our serial
issuances which fall outside that definition and which we believe
you did not intend us to include in our review, such as the informa-
tion reports series, and operational productions.
3. After careful examination, we have concluded that the
Clandestine Services publications do not appear to be susceptible
to consolidation or further appreciable streamlining. Each is
unique, is designed to meet a need, and has a substantially differing
set of consumers.
