This memorandum is in response to your reference request for a summary of OSP Intelligence Requirements and Procedures. 2. The general mission of the OSP is the development, pro- curenent and operation of collection systems. These activities are conducted in response to general USIB requirements under the cognizance of the D/NRO. Under this charter OSP does not generate intelligence requirements and, therefore, does not levy requirements on the Collection Guidance Staff. This Office does, however, main- tain informal liaison with the Collection Guidance Staff and with COMOR, and its sub-committees, with the objective of maintaining a detailed understanding of the current primary intelligence objectives and problems. 3. has the general responsibility for Distribution: orig ..
