8. Training
25X1 A total of in the Area took language training as follows:

course and two others attended the Basic
Supervision course; three persons attended the BOC; training on-the-job
included one new draftsman, who completed an eight week training program
in D/GC, and one new cartographer who entered the training program.
25X1 Approximately I I attended the first E & E course presented by
the Office of Training. Three individuals are taking aeozranhv nnnrnoa
or the DD /P Area. The Chief, D /GP, represented the Geographic Area
at the CIA Orientation course.
9. Vital-Storage
The Chief, Geographic Research and the Chief, Cartography Division
visited the Vital Storage Area at separate times, each succeeded in
appraising the situation in terms of the remaining responsibilities of
the Area for equipping the Vital Storage Area for emergency use. Every
effort is being made to have the proper equipment and materials stored
for eventual emergency.

with various officers of the Area during the past three months.
