Addendum to Journal Office of Legislative Counsel Tuesday - 28 February 1967 Page 3 7, Met with Miss Oneta Stockstill, use Armed Services Commit ee staff, and later talked to Mr. Char es Andrews of t e Capitol Reporting Firm and arranged for security control of the tapes, transcripts and transcriptions of the Director's appearance before House Armed Services Committee, Wednesday, 1 March. In the light of previous contact with this reporting firm, no problems are anticipated. $ Met with Senator Karl Mundt who suggested Monday morning for possible visit to the Agency and breakfast with the DCI. While there, the Senator also raised 'a question concerning possible public statements to be made by him with regard to "the Soviet ground rockets" that the Director had mentioned in the last briefing. He noted that these rockets and their utilization by the North Vietnamese is being covered in some detail in today's press. I advised the Senator that I will check on this matter and be back in touch with him in the morning. 9.1 Met with Mr. J.R. Blandford, House Armed Services Committee staff, who confirmed that due to the pending debate on the House floor tomorrow afternoon of the Powell matter, that there is no possibility of continuing the Director's briefing into an afternoon session.
