ADDENDUM TO JOURNAL
OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL
Monday - 30 October 1967
1. I uIn response to Representative James
Fulton's (R., Pa.) request to Mr. Warner, I arranged with Mrs. Maryn
of his staff, to meet with him at a time to be determined after his
return from Pittsburgh tomorrow.
2. Met with Mr. Philip Kelleher, "
Acting Chief Counsel, House Armed Services Committee, and reviewed
with him the processing of H. R. 13705. After review Mr. Kelleher
determined that the original Speaker letter forwarding the. Agency
proposed legislation earlier in the year, would be adequate for the
Committee report.
3. Met with Mr. Charles Ducander,
Executive Director, House Science and Astronautics Committee, and
discussed briefly with him the highly publicized Soviet Docking of the
Soyuz capsules.
Mr. Philip Yeager was not available during the afternoon. I
will try to see him during the day tomorrow in regard to his conversations-'..
with Chairman Miller concerning the Agency security review of the
Library of Congress paper on the Soviet Space Program.
4. Senator Thomas Kuchel (R., Calif.) was not
available during the afternoon. His secretary, Miss Ruth Crayford, will
call me during the day tomorrow after she checks with the Senator as to
a time for meeting. See Memorandum for the Record.
