Full Financing of Library Projects

Two Chicago area men were
subpoenaed yesterday to ap-
pear Oct. 30 at a congressional

by a 351 to 0 vote and sent-to
the Senate a bill to make 100
per cent Federal financing for
certain new programs to im-
prove library services avail-
able through next June.
The , new programs, ' ap-
proved last year, include the
establishment of library net-
works for sharing available re-
sources, improvement of li-
brary services to the handi-
capped, and improvement of
institutional 'library services.
Under the bill, full Federal fi-
nancing would be available
through next June. After that,
states would have to share the
costs.
