him with the location of the town of Saveh on the map which we had furnished
him. I inquired whether he had gotten all he needed from Mr. Critchfield
in the briefing the other day. The Senator stated it had been a most
excellent briefing and he wished that I would compliment Mr. Critchfield.
He went on to state that other agencies ought to be able to furnish the same
type of information rather than the "pap" he does get. He further indicated
he planned to go to hearings on this Iranian matter on Tuesday.
8.1 Met with Congressman George Bush
(R., Tex.) and gave him directions on how to get to the Agency for the
14 March breakfast briefing. Mr. Bush has said he is very much looking
forward to this occasion and he also mentioned he had received a particularly
bothersome inquiry from a constituent and that he would like to have our help
in answering it. Apparently this item has already been sent to us.
9. Advised by Gail Johnson that Congress-
man Ray Wanton (D., Tenn.) would not be able to make the 14 March break-
fast briefing.

in keeping with. a request of Mr. Jerome Schaller, the Senator's Adminis-
trative Assistant.
12. I Mr. Bill Bader, Consultant, Se, ate _,
Foreign Relations ommittee requested that the transcript covering
Mr. Helm's testimony before the Gore Disarmament Subcommittee on
3 February 1967 be delivered to the Committee by 9:00 Monday morning.
Mr. Bader indicated that he had a request from two senators to review
the transcript.
