In response to a call from Mr. Charles Campbell, Legislative Assistant to Senator Richard Russell (D. , Ga.), I arranged an appointment for 2:30 today with Office of Personnel, for a native Georgian who is completing his Ph. D. , at the University of Michigan. Since the name of the individual was not supplied the appointment was made in my name. 2. Talked to Mr. Charles Whitley, Administrative Assistant to Representative David Henderson, Chairman, Manpower Subcommittee, House Post Office and Civil Service Committee. Mr. Whitley advised that he had discussed again with the Chairman my invitation to visit Headquarters. Although Mr. Henderson would have liked to visit this week he would prefer to wait until Mr. Bray, the Staff Director, returns to the city. Mr. Whitley advised that he would be in touch as soon as Mr. Bray returns to the city. 3., Received a call from Mrs. Schrote, Assistant to Representative Hammerschmidt (R., Ark.). Mrs. Schrote advised that she was inquiring for a constituent who desired a copy of the so-called Robertson Report, which was a report of a meeting chaired by Mr. Robertson of the California Institute of Technology, and dealt with the problem of UFO's. I advised Mrs. Schrote that the various reports and files relating to UFO studies are held by the Department of Air Force, who has had the responsibility for several years within the Executive Branch for review of material relating to Unidentified Flying Objects. Mrs. Schrote advised that she would contact the Air Force. STAT Approved For Release 2004/01/16 : CIA-RDP69B00369R000200180005-0
