STAT STAT STAT STAT ; ~sve~Fo r+~~le~4/0-~/a.6 :-~4A-RDP69BAE13~9 R(~020d~} 88A~1 JOURNAL OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL Thursday - 14 September 196? 1. Delivered a personal letter from the Director to the receptionist in Senator Eugene McCarthy's office. 2. Met with Colonel John M. McFall, Air Force Legislative Liaison, who is traveling with Senator Thomas Kuchel (R. , Calif.) to the Far East. I received from him a copy of the Senator's itinerary. Although the itinerary appears at this time to be firm, contact by the Senator for briefings he may desire will have to be made in the field. He has not indicated so far where he might desire to be briefed by Agency representatives. 3. Met with Mr. Darrell St. Claire, Chief Clerk of the Senate, who advised that he had signed the transmittal for S. 1035 during the morning, but that he did not know what time the message forwarding S. 1035 would be received by the House. On receipt of S. 1035 by the House and assignment to the Post Office and Civil Service Committee, the House Parliamentarian will notify Mr. Philip Kelleher, Chief Counsel, House Armed Services Subcommittee, that the assignment has been made.
