Author Urges Death-Penalty

An amendment to the Con-
titution providing for the
eath penalty for peacetime
spionage was advocated

the word. The potential
strength of anti-Americans is
about 600,000 "fellow trav-
elers."
Singer described atom
spies Julius and Ethel Rosen-
berg as "fanatic Commu-
nists" who declined to "com-
promise their beliefs even to
save their lives."
