1. A meeting was held with the *nagement Staff in regard

2. The draft regulation entitled "Payment of Costs for Overseas
Hospitalization" has been reviewed by the Medical Staff and concurrence
obtained. The draft will next be coordinated with the DD/A.
3. The most recent, and presumably final, draft of proposed
medical legislation, originated by the DuFlon Committee, has been
received unofficially by the Medical Office and an official copy will
be forwarded to the Director around the first of the year. Advance
review does not indicate significant change from the original proposal
and the Medical Office comments will undoubtedly remain the same. The
subject will be discussed further with the DD/A at a later date.
4. The Chief, Medical Staff, has personally written a proposed
Medical Office Regulation in regard employment and career relationships
within the Medical Office and submitted the same for comment, criticism,
and recommendation of the Medical Staff.

6. Research pertinent to medical caching is continuing and a
two-year burial experiment has been initiated.
7. Consideration is being given to the establishment of "*edical
P1.&u lug: Designations". These would consist of categories of capabili-
ties accomplished incident to routine medical examinations and will
provide information to senior officials for the purpose of advance
planning.
