Progress Repcs For Month of Jury 1957
I. Attached is the Records Center monthly statistical report
for the month of January 1957.
2. The following summarises the activity of the finches during
the Month.
A. Accessioning
The Center called upon the Logistics Office/Treteportation
Division on three different occasions to transfer a total of 512
cubic feet of records. This is equivalent to the volume of 6+,
four drag, legal size file cabinets.
The accessions for the month of January 1957 increased
roximately 15 percent over the month of January 1956.
The Center furnished x,153 items to rec estors during
the anth. Of this amber 2,1E5 items were for administrative
issuances. This service on admiaiietrative issuances has in-
creased by 85.5 percent over that of the beginning of the
fiscal year .
The reference on records has surpassed that of the two
months.
