Accessioning and Disposal
Processing of shipment No. 8, which was received on 7 July 1959, has been
completed. This shipment consisted of 347 maps and utilized 104 cubic feet.
To date a total of 1.611 maps which utilize 812 cubic feet have been received
Also 445 cubic feet of new maps have been received
from the printers for a grand total of 1,257 cubic feet of maps.
During the week 243 cubic feet of records were destroyed leaving an accumulation
of 639 cubic feet in the disposal area. One hundred eighty-three cubic feet
were burned in the new incinerator by during the initial 25X1
testing.
A total of 131 cubic feet of space has been gained by disposal or consolidation
of Finished Intelligence since the beginning of the calendar year.

REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING 20 July 1959 FROM RECORDS CENTER
Furnished ORR with information on the retirement activity and total holdings
for the annual report of that office. Since it is not recorded elsewhere,
it is noted here that ORR has 279 cubic feet of Finished Intelligence, 750
cubic feet of inactive records, and 1,257 cubic feet of maps at the Records
Center.
All members of the Records Center and VM Repository attended the showing of
the film by the Suggestions Award Staff.
