3.--(1) If the Governor in Council is satisfied with respect
to. any person that. with a 'v'iew to preventing that person
from acting in any manner prejudicial to the security of

(3) Every person detained in pursuance of an order made
under the provisions of subsection (1) of this section shall
be detained in such place a> the Chief Secretary may direct
and in accordance with instructions issued by the Chief

(4) In any case where under the provisions of subsection
(l) of this section the Chief `eeretars is required to make
an order directing that a person he detained he may in lieu
thereof by order under hip hand make in respect of such
person an order for all or any of the following purpo es-

(1) for imposing upor that person such restrictions as
may be specified in the order in respect of the

(ii) for prohibiting him from being out of doors between
such hours as may be specified in the order
except under the authority of a written permit
