5. Met with Ray White, Administrative
Assistant to Senator Frank J. Lausche (D., Ohio), concerning the interest
of I in employment with, Air America.. I gave Mr. White the
address and phone number of Air America in Washington, D. C. Mr. White
thanked me for stopping by and agreed there was no necessity of pursuing
the relationship between Air America and the Agency and said that nothing
further would be required from us.
6. Dropped by the office of Representative
Floyd Hicks (D., Wash.) and left the information' for Mrs. Dymond concern-
ing the availability through Library of Congress channels of FBIS material
relating to the Latin American Solidarity Conference. I suggested that
Mrs. Dymond get in touch with us if she ran into any trouble.
7. arl Marcy called stating that Senator
Fulbright would like.the Director to do a briefing for the senate Foreign
Relations Committee on the world situation. After discussion with the
Director, a time has been set for ten o'clock on 23 January. Ed Proctor
was notified with a suggestion that he prepare an.outline which we would
then submit to Senator Fulbright so that we can be assured that the briefing
will cover what is desired.
