9. Hand carried to Dorothy Fosdick, Staff Director
of the Senate Subcommittee on National Security and International Opera-
ion, our paper on "Soviet Attitudes Toward Foreign Communists,-'
Communist Parties, and Communist States. " This is the last item to
be provided in response to Senator Jackson's request for information
on this subject.
Gave orientation briefings to Dorothy Fosdick and Haakon
Lindjord on several special and compartmented security areas and
obtained secrecy agreements from them on each of these items.
10. In response to his expression of interest, I
showed Bill Darden, of the Senate CIA Subcommittee staff, a paper prepared
by OSI on the Caspian Sea Monster. Darden was most interested in this
and appreciated being brought up-to-date on it.
11. Discussed with Bill Woodruff, on the staff of
the Senate Appropriations Committee, his visit on 1 November. 25X1
OTR is roughing out a briefing schedule and we will be in touch with him 25X1
further about this.
