(See Mr. Memorandum for the Record for details. ) 2. (I LLM) In response to the earlier call of Mrs. Angela MacConkey, in the office of Representative Leonor K. Sullivan (D., Mo.), I reported on the status of the application of Land Based on Personnel, on 25 June about a delay of up to six months because of personnel hiring limitations; that she had agreed to wait; and that, on this basis, we were continuing her preemployment processing. Mrs. MacConkey appreciated the information and said she had had a note from their dated 24 June. We are to advise Representative Sullivan's office when and if I I enters on duty. 3. Talked to Mr. Robert Michaels, House Appropriations Committee staff, and arranged for a meeting next week for Mr. Carl Duckett in response to the Committee's question of yester- day concerning Foxbat analysis. I will meet with Mr. Michaels on Friday to schedule a time for the meeting. 4. Met with Mr. B. Benton Bray, House Post Office and Civil Service Committee staff, who advised that the transcripts of the Director's testimony of 25 June are still being utilized and will be returned to the Agency on 3 July. 5, Determined from Herb Atkinson, on the staff of the Senate Armed Services Committee, that Senator Ervin will be leaving town tomorrow for the remainder of the week. 6.
