(Internal Use Only - JGO) Met with Mr. Charles Joiiuson and Mr. Bun Bray, House Post Office and Civil Service Committee staff, and confirmed the arrangements for the meeting on Monday, 12 February, with Colonel White. 2. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Met with Miss Carolyn Bacon, Assistant to Senator John Tower (R. , Texas), and advised that I had forwarded the personal resume of hrough our personnel channels and had been advised that the resume would be noted and that they did not think we could be of any help to the Senator's office in the matter at this time. Miss Bacon thanked me very much and indicated that they had forwarded the resume to other offices also. 3. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Met with Mr. Robert Wells, Legislative Assistant to Representative Charles Chamberlain (R. , Mich. ), and provided him with a short biographic sketch of of the I also advised Mr. Wells that the individual is a rather prolific writer on American foreign policies and sends multiple copies to people in Washington. I thanked Mr. Wells very much and he advised that Representative Chamberlain would be responding. The correspondence was returned to Mr. Wells. 4. (Internal Use Only - JGO) At her request, met with Miss Marge Almloff, Assistant to Representative Don Clausen (R. , Calif. ), and received from her a copy of a letter dated February 7 from Miss Almloff noted that I references his previous letters of December 28 and January 15 and that Mr. Clausen has not as yet received a formal response from the Agency.
