Mr. William Darden, Senate Armed Services Committee staff, called attempting to ascertain when either he or the Committee had been first briefed on FOBs. I mentioned in the briefing of the Committee on 19 January 1968 we reviewed when we had previously briefed the Committee on this subject. In any event, this seemed to serve his purpose since he had gotten additional information on the subject from other classified transcripts. 12. Met with Mr. James Wilson, Technical Consultant, --House Science and Astronautics Committee and updated the information previously provided for the Chairman regarding the recent Soviet space event. 13. Met with Mr. William E. Spell, Assistant to Senator John Stennis, who requested certain 25X1 The reports will be forwarded to him tomorrow. 14. Met with Miss Marge Almloff, Assistant to Representative Donald Clausen. Miss Almloff suggested that if any appreciable additional delay is anticipated in thelI case that it would be appreciated if an interim reply be made to Mr. Clausen's letters. 25X1 15.
