Approves or e-% sae 2004/02/09: C1A-RbP70B003`3$R000200140036-2 SECRET, JOURNAL OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL Wednesday - 13 March 1968 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 - CEA) In response to a further inquiry from Pictorial Services Branch, concerning an inquiry from House, Committee on Un-American Activitigs on a VietCong film on how to drive the Americans out of Vietnam, I called Donald Appell, of HCUA, to ascertain specifically what is desired. Appell wants to obtain a film which was shown at the Bratslavia Conference of U.S. left wingers, North Vietnamese, and representatives of the National Liberation Front. These films were described in the January-February 1968 issue of Dissent. I told Appell I would check into this and be back in touch with him. See Journal of 12 March. 2. I I- CEA) indicated that he is interested in obtaining any further correspondence from I similar to that which was originally furnished to us from the office of Representative H. Allen Smith (R., Calif.). It was agreed that I would be in touch with Smith's office to discuss this with them. 3. I I- MKS) Mrs. Meyer, in the office of Representative Garner Shriver, called requesting some printed information about the Agency for a young constituent. This was forwarded to Mrs. Meyer. 5. - MKS) Mrs. Stefanik, in the office of Representative William Hathaway, called requesting application forms and a professional brochure for a constituent of the Congressman's who is interested in applying for a position. These were forwarded to Mrs. Stefanik. 4. Talked with Russ Blandford, House Armed Services Committee staff, and discussed with him certain aspects of a proprietary.
