of Representative Herbert Tenzer (D. , N. Y. ), called concerning the
who may be interested in
employment possibilities with' t e Agency. The young man (who was
not identified) is a recent graduate of the Citadel and is apparently
eligible for the draft. Miss Solomon inquired as to whether Agency
employment constituted sufficient grounds for draft exemption. I
told her it did not but in response to her question indicated that we
would be happy to arrange a personal interview for the young man if
that appeared desirable. Miss Solomon thanked me and said she
would call me again if an interview was desired.

of George Murphy), has sent letters to the State and Defense Departments
requesting written responses to certain questions relating to the security
of U. S. atomic information. Reichardt expects to receive copies of the
responses by State and Defense and will share this information with us.
Reichardt said he has gotten from the State Department a list of the
titles of 50 documents reportedly compromised in the case. 25X1
25X1 In response to his request delivered to
Mr. Vincent Aug Here, ie oreign Operations, House Subcommittee on
Foreign Operations and Government Information, two world maps for
Subcommittee use.
