Services Committee staff, up to date during the day concerning the
various North Korean news agency releases and State Department statements
concerning the alleged statements of Captain Bucher and selected members
of the crew of the Pueblo.

debate on the Defense appropriations bill, Representative Glenard Lipscomb's
office rescheduled the briefing for Mr. Lipscomb on the breakdown on
the Warsaw Pact forces. The briefing is now scheduled for Friday morning,
the time to be confirmed first thing on Friday morning.
