In response to his earlier inquiry, I advised Charles Kirbow, on the staff of Senate Armed Services Committee, that the Agency had no involvement with the Arlie House property in Warrenton, Virginia and gave him a copy of a Sunday supplement article which appeared in the Sunday Star last year on the Arlie House. 13. Picked up from the Senate Preparedness Subcommittee two advance copies of the sanitized testimony of General Wheels Dr. Foster and Dr. Enthoven, constituting Part One of the Subcc; i ttee's hearings on the status of U. S. stragetic power. A copy has b nade available to Mr. Bruce Clarke. 14. Attempted to reach Senator Kuchel or Mr. John Merriam on the subject of Jim Donnovan and the Pueblo crew. Neither the Senator nor Merriam were available. 16. Messrs. Warner, 0 and I attended the Henderson Subcommittee hearing on S. 1035 (Constitutional Rights of Federal Employees) at which Senator Ervin testified.
