1. In response to the referenced memorandum, I have designated
the Office of Special Activities, DD/S&T, as the U-ZR Systems Project
Office (S. P. O. ) and Brigadier General Paul N. Bacalis, Director of
Special Activities, as the Chief of the U-ZR Special Project Office.
2. The development of the U-ZR base line configuration is at
this time being completed and will be forwarded in the near future.
