Operating System (OS) STATINTL STATINTL Approved For Release 2002/06/14 :CIA-RDP71 B00185A000100020120-8 ' ~ Ad00, oaax~ (1) FORTRAN-E is available. This is a subset of FORTRAN-H and of IBM 7090 FORTRAN and thus there are serious limitations in running FORTRAN programs written for another machine. FORTRAN-E is satisfactory for simple to medium complex programming. However, object programs are necessarily quite limited in size. (2) COBOL-E. Runs well and is adequate. (3) ALC-E. Runs but is slow. (4) PL/1-F'. Runs well. b. Basic Operating System (BOS) The above languages are available under BOS, but some in- compatibility exists with OS. However. the Mod 30 is quite adequate using BOS and will furnish a versatile, but somewhat slow in size and speed, capability. Approved For Release 2002/06/14 :CIA-RDP71 B00185A000100020120-8
