1. informed me that beginning with STS-1
distribution to DOD consumers will be made via DIA. In particular,
a number of copies will be given to our Document Distribution
Division along with the recommended distribution list. Document
Distribution Division will then forward these copies to DIA for DOD
distribution. It is anticipated that any request directly to the Agency
from DOD agencies for additional copies will be referred to DIA.
2. I checked with to determine whether or not
there might be any objections by Dr. Wheelon. indicated
that DIA does have the charter to do this and this is an appropriate
way to go. Dr. Wheelon does not object. Appropriate precautions
regarding security should, of course, be observed.
