Senate Foreign Relations Committee
1. This afternoon the Director called on Chairman Fulbri ht in
response to the Senator's interest in
2. The Director said that Senator Fulbright explained that he had
merely raised this question because of his particular interest
Apparently the Senator was
entirely satisfied with the Director's information regarding
3. The Director said Senator Fulbright then turned to the subject
of biological and chemical warfare, in which he was quite interested.
4. The Director said Senator Fulbright was friendly and relaxed
in their comersation and remarked that the Director had generally provided
more accurate information to the Committee than had other witnesses who
had testified regarding the Communist threat.
