SUBJECT: Conversation with Mr. Al Tarabochia, on the staff of
the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee
1. Mr. Al Tarabochia, on the staff of the Senate Internal
Security Subcommittee, called today to say that he had learned that
the contact he had previously discussed with me turned out to be the
2. Mr. Tarabochia's source compared the situation there
to strike breaking activity and provided Mr. Tarabochia with the
names of other officers who had been involved. He said these people
were held at a special place for detention by the "assault police. "
3. WH Division Iwas advised of this
conversation and on his a vice suggested to Mr. Tarabochia that
(without referring to CIA) he pass this information on to the State
Department, since an American citizen was involved. He said he
would call John Leahy, State Department Congressional Relations
office.
