1. Attached are subject proposals for your concurrence or
comments.
2. The Director of Finance proposed the revisions to include
an employee's husband as a dependent for travel purposes eliminating
the 51-percent-dependency requirement. The Department of State made
a similar change in its regulations following a recommendation by
the Interdepartmental Committee on the Status of Women. Any inquiries
you may have concerning these proposals should be referred to Mr.
Office of Finance,
