During his visit to the Agency on Saturday, I :arch 196
John L. McClellan. expressed interest in the Agency's
personnel security probie-xns, and in this context he was told
briefly of our concern over some of the provisions of the Ervin
bill.. We did not brief the Senator in detail on this probler: , but
his questions and comments left no doubt that he appreciates the
special proble ris of the Agency in this regard. As the ranking
-jority neznber, after Chairman Eastland, of the Judiciary
CoamAttee, Senator McClellan might be helpful to as if called
upon.
