SUBJECT: Conversation with Bruce Merkle, Administrative
Assistant to Representative William G. B ray
in meeting with Mr. Bruce Merkie today, he loaned me
a copy of a book, The Secret Services of Europe" by Robert
Boucard published by Stanley, Paul & Company, Ltd. of London
in 1940. Mr. Merkle advised that he had received this book
from the Library of Congress and in going through he noted that
margin notes had been m=ade indicating names of individuals
where the text had left a blank or described an individual by
occupation. Mr. Merkle felt that it might be of interest to some
of our people. I thanked him and advised that I would return the
book.
