1. (Confidential - LLM) In response to his request of yesterday,
advised J. Sourwine, Chief Counsel, Senate Internal Security Subcommittee,
that Raya Kiselnikova had defected to the Mexican Government. I told him
we would note the Subcommittee' s interest against the unlikely possibility of a
change in the situation and he was thankful for the consideration. Mr. Bob
Davis, Chairman, IDC, said he would make an appropriate notation in the
file.
2. (Confidential - GLC) Marian Czarnecki, on the staff of the House-
Committee on Foreign Affairs, called and asked if we would review two
reports which have come to Representative Dante Fascell's (D., Fla. )
attention and which he had asked to have referred to us. One of these has to
do with the arrival of "mysterious cargo from the Soviet Union" in Cuba and
the other has to do with the recent Cuban confiscation of a private boat,
the Jocelyn Sea. These reports were picked up from the Foreign Affairs
Committee and have been forwarded to n OSR for review. 25X1A
