Judiciary Committee staff, who that she had been contacted by
representatives of CAB on the case. See Memorandum for the
Record.
2. Met with Mr. Bun Bray, Manpower and
Civil Service Subcommittee, House Post Office and Civil Service Committee
staff, who told me that he has discussed the JErvin bill (S. 782) with the
Chairman since his return to the city, and the bill is not included in any
scheduled meetings of the Subcommittee.

Chairman is still particularly interested in Cienfuegos.
I briefed Mr. Slatinshek on the following items: ChiCom mounded
strongpoints; North Vietnamese infiltration rate; Soviet FE forces; Soviet
naval missile test; and ChiCom missile testing. With regard to the
ChiCom mounded strongpoints, Mr. Slatinshek requested if possible
additional detail. I told him I would relay his request and see if a briefing
could be arranged for him on the subject.

I told Miss Dine that there was, of course, nothing to this. She speculated
that the letter was written by a crackpot and I didn't quarrel with her
conclusion. She agreed to answer other aspects of the letter and ignore
the references to the Agency.
I told Miss Dine we would be interested in having Senator-elect
Taft visit us in the Agency and said I would be 'b~.cl in touch with them
about this.
