4. (Secret - JGO) Met with Mr. Frank Slatinshek, House Armed
Services Committee staff, who advised that
visited the Committee on 17 December
and alleged among other ings LIICLL he is under surveillance by the Govern-
ment. Mr. Slatinshek told me she was given a very sympathetic ear and in
brief advised that she should seek medical assistance. He noted that
told him she was employed by the Government from 1944 to
IV6 7, when sa retired, first by the Army, then Air Force, and the Agency
for the last ten years of her government service. I thanked Mr. Slatinshek
for the information.
I briefed Mr. Slatinshek on the following items:
a. Laos;
b. Soviet expansion of civil air operations;
c. Soviet satellite photo reconnaisance;
d. Soviet-ChiCom border negotiations.;
e. Soviet-Cuba agreement for construction of a Soviet
satellite communications center in Cuba.
