Monday - 6 April 1970
1. IoP1S&S, called to
advise that I uis in town. She has visited the Civil Service
Commission i an effort to file a grievance and informed the
Commission that she hoped to see Senator Goodell.
Afte call I called Don Costello, on the staff of
Representative James M. Hanley (D., N.Y.), to alert him. Costello
said thati had been in touch with them on Friday and would
be in to see them to ay. I told Costello that we would like to see
if she would come to ffice or as an alterna-
tive we would be glad to have eet with her on the Hill.
I gave Costellol number in the event he wanted to contact him
on this.
Murphy asked if we would provide the JCAE staff with any
information we had on Soviet strategy regarding the SALT talks.
Murphy also asked if I would check with our people to obtain
any information we might have as to what is motivating the Soviets in
their Plowshare Program.
