1. 1 -1 Called Wilfred Rommel, Assistant
Director for Legislative Reference, Office of Management and Budget,
to ask him to try to expedite our legislative package as explained in my
letter of 30 September before the recess of Congress. He seemed hazy
on the facts and I refreshed his recollection, adding that his assistant,
Victor Zafra, had all the details. Rommel said he would see what he
could do and call me back.
