Wednesday - 22 April 1970
2. (Confidential - JMM) Jim Lowenstein, on the Senate Foreign
Relations Committee staff, called late this afternoon to say that he and
Richard Moose, also of the staff, were departing at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday
28 April for Cambodia and would like an Agency briefing either on the
Hill or at Headquarters before leaving. Lowenstein said he would not be
available Friday afternoon and that Monday afternoon they were to be
briefed by Secretary Rogers, but indicated that any other time will be
suitable. I said I would check with the Director and call him back.
