FOREWORD
Time- constraints did not permit an exhaustive review
of Agency printing requirements in respect to the usefulness
of the material printed and the validity of publication
distribution lists. Statements by the various Directorates
of their printing requirements were the primary basis for
the estimates of printing requirements as presented in
this study. One note of warning: the study expresses
concern that printing requirements will soon outstrip
printing capability. Nevertheless, the Study Group,
while agreeing that printing ca ability in the short-run

may well on printing requirements, feels that in
the long-run gd printing requirements must be paramount
not printing capability.
