The Tidewater Inn has long been famous
for the excellence of its food and
its smooth "Red Coat Service". Tempting
and time-honored Maryland dishes find
their way to eager palates from our
ultra-modern stainless steel cuisine.
Gourmet dishes, prepared by
internationally acclaimed chefs, are
served with true "old world" skill.
After dinner, enjoy coffee in the
Blue Room as a prelude to a rubber
of bridge, an evening of dancing, or a
film at the local Theatre. We find that
many of our guests just prefer a
quiet stroll through the colonial streets
of Easton topped off with a nightcap
in the River Room before retiring to a
peaceful night of slumber.
While enjoying the comfort and
convenience of the completely modern
Tidewater Inn, we invite you to
visit the town of Easton so full of the
warmth and culture that could
remain so enviably unchanged
only on the Eastern Shore.
Visit the stately gardens which were old
when the Revolution was young.
Watch the last working sailing fleet
in the nation put out into the
Chesapeake for a day of oyster tonging.
Share with us the breathtaking sunsets
and the beauty of this verdant land.

played in nearby Salisbury.

tributaries make boating an integral
part of leisure time activities for
all visitors to The Tidewater Inn.
Got the fishing bug? Rockfish and many
other varieties test the angler's skill daily.
For those of our guests who like to
really relax, we recommend a
