Deputy Director for Science and Technology Contractor Man Deviation and Overdue Reports Di)/SV,T-4649-69, same subject, dated 2 Sec 69 1. I have reviewed the matter of overdue reporting relative to the Contract Information System with cognizant members of my office and action has been taken to remedy the situation. All contract monitors and those responsible for contract management rout together and reviewed their respective responsibilities for contract performance reporting. During this meeting we reiterated the high regard you place on this system and the seriousness of overdue reporting. 2. Specifically, overdue reporting has been primarily tLe failure to provide current reporting to those responsible for upkeep of the CIS. There have as well been a few cases of contractors delinquent in their reporting. 25X1 25X1 Special Contracting and Procurement Branch OIL., has :ec ed to remind those specific contractors of their con- tractual responsibilities. 3. At the present tire FMSAC has reduced the number of its delinquent reports to one and I anticipate no trouble in eliminating that one by the time we have our Quarterly =Ieview with you on 19 January. 25X1 DAV I } S.
