Dear Dr. Reed:
The attached list and accompanying seven boxes are CIA Transmittal
No. 1 to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library through your office. The
list details the contents of the seven buses which include 368 reels
of 16 millimeter microfilm containing Foreign Broadcast Information
Service Daily Reports and Analyses for the period of November 1963 to
January 1969.
These reports are unclassified and have no specific restrictions
as to access and use. Some of the Analyses have the defense classifi-
cation of Confidential and must be handled in accordance with related
defense controls and restrictions.
This collection was selected by Officers of the EBIS Components
under the direction of specifically for this
Presidential Library deposit. Your acknowledgement of the receipt of
this transmittal will be appreciated.
