Dear Lloyd:
Mr. Kirkpatrick is most appreciative of President Barnaby
Keeney's invitation to address one of your University Convocations
at the Wednesday noon hour on 14 April. He will need considerably
more advice, however, as to the nature of the meeting, the audience,
at cetera, but he knows these details' will be forthcoming from
President Keeney.
Since you indicated you would like to take advantage of
Mr. Kirkpatrick's visit to have him meet also with a faculty group
that afternoon or evening, he will be planning to remain with you
through the Thursday breakfast hour.
It is my guess at this time, with the weather being what it
should be then, that Mr. Kirkpatrick will want to drive his personal
automobile to Providence. Chances are he will take with him another
Agency person or two, but we can give you these details as the
time for his presentation approaches. In any case, will
Join Mr. Kirkpatrick on this occasion, and he will arrive a day early
to be of any possible assistance to you. In the meantime, 'please
do not hesitate to telephone me collect regarding any information or
guidance you may need from our encl. I am enclosing a short bio.
