Powell Voices Charges

WASHINGTON (AP) Rep.
Adam Clayton Powell made
news on two fronts Tuesday,
Claiming he ' has information
linking More universities with
the Central Intelligence Agency
and charging that draft defer-
ment tests are reminiscent of
Nazi Germany.
The New York Democrat told
newsmen he has received un-
verified information that CIA
personnel have been associated
with the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology and the Universi-
ty of Pennsylvania. He reported
this in announcing that his
House .Education and Labor
Committee will investigate, re-
cently ? alleged CIA 'links with
Michigan State :University. ?
