to Discuss China Intelligence Needs
1. I am sure you will be interested in the attached memo
which has just gone out to the various Departmental and Agency
Representatives to the CIACG.
2. As you see, we shall be meeting on 13 July to discuss
my proposal for a study project .which will attempt to bring clearer
definition to the needs for intelligence on China now and in the
future. I have asked certain DDI offices to assist in our considera-
tion of how to go about the project, and have issued an invitation to
OPPB to monitor the meeting if they wish. I hope very much that
you or will be able to attend as the DDP Representative
to the CIACG.
